Shigemi Slot tubes enable significant sensitivity enhancement and the use of short 90° pulse width when studying salted samples. The Shigemi Slot Tube is composed of an outer tube and a plunger that both match the magnetic susceptibility of D2O. The use of a sample positionning unit is required for optimization of the sample cavity orientation in the NMR probe.
