AHN myPlate® PCR Plates are non-skirted PCR plates in the format of 96 well. These PCR Plates can be easily cut into 16, 24, 32 or 48-well pieces. They are also available as low profile PCR Plates with 0.1 mL wells, ideal for fast thermocyclers and as regular profile plates with 0.2 mL well capacity, suitable for standard cyclers. These PCR Plates are designed for high efficiency across a wide range of PCR and sequencing applications. Universal fit and ultimate heat transfer of AHN myPlate® PCR Plates
AHN myPlate® PCR Plates are made from a unique blend of ultra-flexible and transparent Polypropylene (PP), preventing the PCR Plates from cracking upon drastic temperature changes and offering the most uniform thermocycler fit. A compatibility list is available on request.
AHN myPlate® PCR Plates are suitable for a wide range of PCR and qPCR applications and especially recommended for those applications, where the optical qPCR signal is obtained through the bottom of the tubes. Thanks to the optimal heat transfer and sample security, AHN myPlate® PCR Plates offer excellent performance and value.
Thanks to the thin wall construction, AHN myPlate® PCR Plates enable the most efficient rapid thermal transfer and minimal condensation. Featured with extra low adhesion, the inner surface of AHN myPlate® PCR Plates is specially treated to reduce the binding of protein. Moreover, the V shaped bottom allows total sample recovery.
Sterility standards of AHN myPlate® PCR Plates
AHN myPlate® PCR Plates are manufactured under strict sterile conditions and certified for DNA, DNase, RNA, RNase, ATP, PCR Inhibitor, Heavy Metal and Pyrogen Free. On top of that, AHN myPlate® PCR Plates are highly resistant to extreme mechanical strain and have excellent chemical resistance and are autoclavable.
Wide range of sealing membranes for AHN myPlate® PCR Plates
Individual tubes on AHN myPlate® PCR Plates can be closed with a range of sealing membranes. Disposable myPlate® PCR Plates sealing membranes are a great option for regular PCR (temp. 40-120⁰C). With a strong adhesive, these membranes provide a perfect seal that keeps evaporation rates lower than 5% throughout the entire PCR. AHN myPlate® PCR Plates optical sealing membranes offer uninterrupted signal detection for real time PCR (temp. 40-120⁰C). Optical membranes feature high light transmittance and a strong, pressure-sensitive adhesive. Last, and certainly not least, are the aluminum AHN myPlate® PCR Plates membranes that can be used for PCR (temp. 80-120⁰C) and storage. An optional AHN decapping tool makes it easy to add and remove sealing membranes without damaging them or impeding light flow.
